SEO Writing: Skills SEO Copywriters Should Have Beyond Knowing How to Write SEO Articles

Hi Yuwanda,
I hope you are having a great day in Jamaica! Florida is hot as usual. Thank God for air conditioning!
I have quick question I ran into yesterday at a networking luncheon. After I did my introduction, a potential customer asked me if I knew html. I answered, no, I don’t build websites, but I do provide content for your website.
Later, I realized her husband works for IBM, so I am assuming she understands what is SEO. Now, I question what she was referring to and if there is a better way to answer the question without losing her confidence in my ability to provide content.
My Answer
I sent her a quick reply yesterday, but wanted to respond in depth here today.
What the respondent is really asking is NOT about web design skills. They’re really asking . . .
