How to Get SEO Writing Jobs: One Simple Thing This Freelancer Did That Got Immediate Results
A couple of aspiring SEO writers who’ve bought Inkwell’s ebook on how to start an SEO writing career have been kind enough to keep in touch. Many of their tales I relay to you to keep you inspired, glean a new piece of knowledge and/or just go give you an inside peek at how others run their freelance writing business.
Today’s post is once again inspired by a reader who found success using a marketing strategy I outline in the above-mentioned ebook.
Here’s a peek at the email she sent:
Hi Yuwanda,
After sending a mass of emails one week . . .
What this has done is incredible. I receive immediate or almost immediate responses from the editors . . . and remember, I am in a different time zone than most companies I target. Even if it is to tell me that they’re not hiring, I get a personalized response, wishing me well.
The most recent was a few hours ago. I had barely sent my email out when I got a response from the Gmail Notifier to either update my conversation or to ignore it. I had thought it was either an auto-reply or it had bounced back. But no, it was the editor asking me to send a list of possible articles I could write (emphasis added). I was shocked!
So, it pays to . . . .
I can’t thank you enough, once again.
Enjoy Jamaica.

This is particularly important now that the slower summer season is here, which I talked about in the post, Advice for Freelance Writers: How to Land Freelance Writing Jobs During the Slow Summer Months.
